To me, health care means placing the patient at the center of everything I do each day. I feel privileged when my patients share their experiences with me, allowing us to work together on their heart health.I'm fortunate that my role as a cardiologist encompasses the entire heart health journey, from prevention and diagnostic imaging to acute treatment and ongoing care.As an academic cardiologist, I find it rewarding to share knowledge with the next generation of physicians.In my clinical practice, it’s incredibly fulfilling to solve medical puzzles and help my patients understand how to manage their cardiac conditions.
